My Favorite Medicine Cabinet Swaps

As a family we have slowly swapped common medical cabinet products for more natural ways to heal our bodies. We use a combination of oils, supplements and elimination to heal our bodies when they’re sick.

If you’d like to unlearn what you’ve been taught, then read on my friend!

  1. First and foremost, check your diet. We usually cut out all processed food, sugar and dairy before doing anything else. Most of the time, taking a break from these food categories does the trick.

  2. Next, up your water intake. Most of us are dehydrated!

  3. Lastly, give oils and homeopathic medicine a good, long try. 95% of the time these work for us and we rarely have to take over the counter medicine.

Once you start healing your gut, common ailments are easily solved!

toxic free headache medicine

HEADACHES

Headache/Tension Roller ~ this is our first line of defense if anyone has a headache. Apply to your temples and to the back of your neck & head.

10ml roller

  • 10 drops Panaway

  • 10 drops Peppermint

  • 10 drops Copaiba

  • Top with a carrier oil

Arnica ~ a homeopathic pain reliver, it works great for us.

We give both of these several tries before resorting to anything over the counter. I personally have been able to only use these for almost two years (except when we had C***id - we both took stronger medicine for a few days during that season)

toxic free seasonal allergy medicine

SEASONAL ALLERGIES

Allergy Drops ~

If you live in Texas these are fantastic. Even the kids will take them in a small amount of water. We combine this with the seasonal allergy roller when we’re feeling particularly crummy. This combination has made it to where we only take the occasional Benadryl. We have been able to get completely off of all of the 24 hour allergy medicines we took for years.

Super Seasonal Roller ~

Copaiba acts as a magnifying oil, so when you add it to other oils it can help maximize and enhance the others' properties! It also enhances absorption of other oils when applied topically.

RECIPE (10ml roller)

  • 10 Peppermint

  • 10 Lavender

  • 10 Lemon

  • 10 Copaiba

~ fill w carrier oil of choice ~

toxic free inflammation support

INFLAMMATION

This combo really helps our boys recover quickly from their daily workouts and sports activities. Our daughter likes the effect Sulfurzyme has on her skin and nails. Once our boys began taking these daily, they stopped asking for pain medicine for their aches and pains from being growing teenage boys.

natural hormone support for women

HORMONES

I don’t want to put it all out there, but Progessence has been a total game changer for me. My hormones are much more balanced and that has affected EVERYTHING! I could not recommend this more. Message me and we can chat further. I’m so thankful to have found something natural that is working for me. For women that need more support, combining two or more products does the trick.

Anti-fungal, bacteria fighting, toxic free medicine

Anti-fungal/Bacteria Fighting and more!

We have had all three of these oils on hand for a very long time to fight a million different things.

  • Tea Tree is a wonderful universal oil that we have used for many different skin infections over the years. Just dilute with a carrier oil and apply. It is also great for getting rid of lice!

  • For years now we have applied straight lavender to blemishes. It works amazingly well!

  • Oregano oil is very highly concentrated, and you only need a drop or two. This oil is a natural antibiotic and has done wonders for us. We also have Oregano oil in pill form and take it anytime we are sick. Apply diluted oregano oil to any cut or open wound just like you would Neosporin.

magnesium

The one supplement we all take EVERY SINGLE DAY ~

Magnesium

Did you know that most Americans are deficient in this very important mineral? What does magnesium do?

  • Regulates muscle and nerve function

  • Aids in bone formation

  • Regulates blood sugar levels

  • Helps make protein and DNA

  • Allows muscles to relax and contract

  • Regulates blood pressure

  • Involved in energy production
