How Does Shipping Work?

Your order is shipped frozen and packed in a box with an insulated liner. The box and liner we are using both highly insulated with dry ice. Orders are shipped for delivery to your doorstep within a 1 - 2 day window via UPS. Based on your location, shipping may be ground or tw0-day air.

Shipping Schedule

We ship out orders on Mondays and Tuesdays. This ensures your order is delivered during the week day. On the rare occasion we need to push shipping dates back a week or so we will reach out via email.

Texas - We are currently only shipping to Texas Customers. If this changes, we will announce that via our newsletter.

When will my order be shipped? 

We are currently shipping orders out once a month. You can choose a shipping date at checkout. Shipments go out on Mondays or Tuesdays to ensure your order isn’t delayed over the weekend. 

How should I expect my order to arrive?

Your order is shipped frozen and packed in a box with an insulated liner with a high insulation value, and packed with dry ice.

Your order is shipped for delivery within a 1- to 2-day timeframe via UPS. Based on your location shipping may be ground or two-day air.

This will ensure your order stays chilled during shipment. Please unpack your box as soon as you receive it. Any freshly thawed items can either be refrigerated or refrozen for later use. It is normal to have some thawing.

What are shipping costs? 

Shipping varies depending on your location. Fees are calculated at checkout and are based on shipping zones from our farm location (see map above). Shipping rates are FLAT RATES.

Why are shipping costs so expensive?
Several factors go into our shipping costs to make sure your meat stays frozen throughout the shipment process.

  1. Orders are packed in high-quality shipping materials, with high insulation values, to help keep your meat frozen. Each order will also ship with dry ice depending on your destination.

  2. Additionally, we are shipping orders to arrive within a 1- to 2-day arrival based on your location from our farm. In some instances, two-day air rates are necessary to make sure your order arrives in a timely manner and chilled.

  3. As our business grows we will be able to take advantage of lower shipping rates and will pass that savings onto you. Shipping rates are based on volume, so small businesses need time to grow in order for shipping rates to decrease.

Can I recycle my packaging? 

Yes! We have a box/liner return program for us to RECYCLE & REUSE with future orders. Inside your box you’ll find a return shipping label. Please send the box with liner and a book, magazine or DVD donation. The donation will go to a local library and allows us to utilize the USPS’s media mail rate.
